Check Out One of our Newest SELECTIVES Blended Learning Opportunities

Through the Valley Unified Education Service Center SELECTIVES Initiative, which is funded through our FEDES III grant, learners at Community High School in Fort Kent, Madawaska High School, and Wisdom High School, now have the opportunity to engage in elective blended learning opportunities (a mix of anywhere, anytime on-line learning and face-to-face instruction) in a range of career-focused and/or special interest topics, including Healthcare Career Preparation, Principles of Manufacturing,  Introduction to Engineering and Technology, Computer Assisted Drafting and Design, Introduction to U.S. Military Service and Occupational Specialties, Principles of Business, Marketing & Finance, and more.

In the last two years, fourteen SELECTIVES learning opportunities have been created by Valley Unified staff based on interest surveys conducted with learners in our three high schools.  For more information on these career or special interest electives, students and their parents should contact their high school guidance counselor.

To review the syllabus/pacing guide for one of our newest SELECTIVES learning opportunities, Principles of Photography ( a visual arts elective), go to bit.ly/38qJJNu or click on the image below.
